Tampa Bay Lightning defeats Atlanta Thrashers 4-3 in overtime
Steven Stamkos scored 2:56 into overtime to give the Lightning a 4-3 win over the Thrashers on Sunday. Stamkos, whose goal was his team-leading 15th, salvaged the game for Tampa Bay, which had led 3-1 with less than five minutes left in regulation. The Lightning also got goals from Ryan Malone, Kurtis Foster and Stephane Veilleux.
