Tampa Bay Lightning falls to Buffalo Sabres on sixth-round shootout goal

OCTOBER 24, 2009

Tyler Myers beat Mike Smith in the sixth round of the shootout after Buffalo's Drew Stafford tied it late in the third period and the Sabres beat the Lightning 3-2 on Saturday night.

Vinny Lecavalier snapped a 15-game goal-scoring drought and Steven Stamkos scored early in the third period for the Lightning.
