Tampa Bay Lightning G Anders Lindback returns to Sweden to mull offers
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback returned to his native Sweden to work out and consider offers to play in Europe, his agent said.
“He’s champing at the bit,” agent Michael Deutsch said of his client’s eagerness to play with Tampa Bay, but “understands there’s a bigger picture.”
Lindback, 24, played just 38 games the past two seasons as backup to Predators star Pekka Rinne. He was acquired by the Lightning in July to be the team’s long-term solution in net.
