Tampa Bay Lightning picks sixth in June draft
There were no changes in the draft order as it set up after the NHL regular season ended, which means the Oilers will get the No. 1 overall pick in the June 25-26 draft in Los Angeles. The Tampa Bay Lightning will pick sixth.
Here is the draft order for the 14 non-playoff teams. The rest will be added as playoffs progress:
1. Oilers
2. Bruins (from Maple Leafs)
3. Panthers
4. Blue Jackets
5. Islanders
6. Lightning
7. Hurricanes
8. Thrashers
9. Wild
10. Rangers
11. Stars
12. Ducks
13. Coyotes (from Flames)
14. Blues
