Tampa Bay Lightning signs James Wright to a three-year contract
Good thing we wrote about James Wright for today's paper. The Tampa Bay Lightning announced it signed the forward to a three-year, entry-level contract. Nice story about a prospect who came into camp completely off the radar but forced the team to make a commitment.
Basically, if the Lightning wants, it will have up to nine regular-season games to decide whether or not to send Wright back to Vancouver of the Western Hockey League and slide the contract to next season.
