Tampa Bay Lightning's Steven Stamkos, Ryan Malone day-to-day
Word from the Tampa Bay Lightning is that the injuries sustained Wednesday night by Steven Stamkos and Ryan Malone are not serious. Both are being listed as day-to-day and will travel with the team on a six-game road trip that begins Friday in Denver.
Malone, second on the team with 16 goals, sustained a lower body injury in the first period against the Oilers.
Stamkos, with a team-high 17 goals, had an upper body injury in the second period. Neither finished the game.
