Everyone at Lightning practice but Tyler Johnson
The Lightning may have most of its regulars back for Game 1 of the playoffs Wednesday against Detroit.
Wing Ryan Callahan, Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman all participated in Monday's practice and Brandon, and appear good to go for the first-round opener at Amalie Arena. The only player missing was center Tyler Johnson, who is considered day to day after an upper body injured suffered Saturday.
Coach Jon Cooper said Johnson couldn't go today, and they'll see how he feels for Tuesday's practice. Tampa Bay GM Steve Yzerman had said Sunday Johnson could be available for Wednesday, but it would seem as though he'd need to skate with the team first.
Kucherov, who missed Saturday's game with a left foot injury, said he's still sore, but it doesn't limit him on the ice. Callahan, who missed the last three games with a lower body injury, said he's feeling good. Hedman (upper body) missed the last three games, but could have played Saturday, and says he's ready for the playoffs.
More from today: The lines are Jonathan Drouin with Valtteri Filppula and Ondrej Palat; Alex Killorn with Namestnikov and Kucherov, Callahan with Paquette and Brown, Blunden with Boyle and Condra (Marchessault).
