Lightning, Panthers, NHL and NHLPA donate $2.7 million to Florida hurricane relief

The Lightning, Panthers, NHL and NHLPA joined to donate $2.7 million to Hurricane Irma relief efforts in Florida.

Fans and members of the community who wish to support these efforts can donate through the Lightning Foundation, Panthers Foundation. You can also donate at the Lightning preseason games, which begin Sept. 19.

Lightning owner Jeff Vinik previously donated $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Texas.
