Lightning reassigns Erik Condra to Syracuse
Wing Erik Condra's return to the NHL was short-lived.
Condra, 30, recalled by the Lightning Monday, was reassigned back to AHL Syracuse today. Condra, called up with several Tampa Bay forwards banged-up, didn't play Monday in Nashville.
The Lightning, which is off today, plays Wednesday at Amalie Arena against the Flyers.
In other news, there are no hearings scheduled with NHL Department of Player Safety stemming from Monday's Lightning-Predators game. There were several questionable hits, including one from Ryan Ellis on J.T. Brown that Brian Boyle dubbed "extremely dirty."
