Jonathan Drouin was at Lightning practice Wednesday.

But he was in the stands.

Drouin, 21, remains sidelined with an injury suffered on a hit to the head by the Islanders' Calvin de Haan Nov. 1. Drouin is likely to miss his fourth straight game Thursday when the Islanders return to Amalie Arena.

Drouin, wearing a hoodie and flip flops, watched Wednesday from the stands. He's been working out/ skating on his own since Saturday. But coach Jon Cooper didn't know when Drouin will be able to rejoin a team skate, a pre-requisite to returning.

Nobody has labeled Drouin's injury a concussion, but it certainly appears like the team is taking precaution with the touted wing. And his absence has been longer than the original day-to-day diagnosis.

"He's been doing all sorts of different things, whether it's skating or off ice workouts," Cooper said. "He's gradually coming along here, but we don't have quite a timetable for him yet."
