Colbert digs into the Confederate flag controversy
We have another blog in the Times' cyberspace domain which has featured this link. But since I wrote last week about some of the things Steven Colbert is satirizing here, I figured I would also post this snippet of Comedy Central's news parody God taking on our poor, backward corner of the country (I really like how Colbert says the Confederate flag echoes Southern culture "like a swastika says 'Oktoberfest.'").
Watch as the master proves how a half-dozen serious news stories can't match the impact of one well-placed Larry the Cable Guy reference....
