Tweet My Name! 'Breaking Bad' is Nielsen's No. 1 show on Twitter
So that explains why no one ever "favorites" my Bet on Your Baby tweets!
Nielsen has released the top Twitter and tweeted-upon TV shows of the past year, plus the hottest individual eps and specials. Breaking Bad was the No. 1 overall show on Twitter, "reaching" (tweets, RTs, favorites, etc) 6 million people per each new episode; its series finale reached 9.1 million users. (#Heisenberg!!!!!!)
The Voice, however, set the record for total tweets about a single episode with 1.92 million comments dedicated to its May 13 installment. As for specials, the Super Bowl reached 15.3 million Twitter users, while the Oscars reached 13.9.
I'm not sure what all of this means, but I'm going to declare it as awesome and satisfying as a meal at Pollos Hermanos. Anyway, here are the Top 10 most popular series on Twitter (which does not include, to my amazement, Bet on Your Baby):
- Breaking Bad
- The Walking Dead
- Pretty Little Liars
- The Bachelor
- Game of Thrones
- Teen Wolf
- American Horror Story: Coven
- The Voice
- Dancing With the Stars
