Another stand-up comedian is getting another sitcom based on their act. Suprising, we know. But what's this? The comedian is Tom Papa, and the show is being produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, so this one has some muscle behind it.

CBS bought a pilot for More Time With Family, a sitcom about a dad who quits his travel-heavy job to spend more time with his family, Deadline Hollywood reports. Basically it's the plot to World War Z if the zombies hadn't attacked, then.

Papa worked with Damon and Affleck on Behind the Candleabra playing Ray Arnett, the guy who introduced Liberace to Scott Thorson, so he's obviously learned how to broker a deal. Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith, writers for NBC's The Gates and CBS' long-running The King of Queens, will be responsible for the story.

Affleck's Pearl Street Films is trying to get on TV a lot these days. Ben is already directing the pilot for a new Fox crime drama called The Middle Man. He must be trying to design a fallback plan, in case those Oscars don't help him out in Hollywood.
