In case you missed it, Conan O'Brien's last Tonight Show Friday was filled with nostalgia, big names and a refreshing lack of bile.

He may have gotten screwed by NBC, but O'Brien was willing to put any bitterness aside to serve his comedy and the fans who have loved him through it all.

I think it may say a lot about the state of modern television -- and NBC! -- when a guy this smart and talented can't stay on a network.

Bet he goes where all great TV seems to be going these days - to cable.
