More proof NBC's Brian Williams is perfect TV anchor: He delivers news over a fire alarm

brian_williams.jpgNBC News anchor Brian Williams is so good at the job sometimes, you wonder if the network didn't craft him in a test tube from a follicle of Tom Brokaw's old chest hair.

Further proof of his continuing cool came Tuesday, when an intermittent fire alarm broke into the 6:30 p.m. broadcast of NBC Nightly News and continued through most of the program.

Williams, who never flinched even when the alarm first sounded, calmly acknowledged the problem a few times, but otherwise tried to press on as if the ear-splitting noise wasn't obliterating everything he was saying.

I'm sure visions of dropping ratings and jokey YouTube videos were dancing in his head, but you'd never know it from his unflappable demeanor.

So, more kudos to Williams' skill, seen below in two different clips from the show.
