NBC casts Sanjaya, Janice Dickinson and Stephen Baldwin in new reality show, forever lowering definition of celebrity

Heidi-montag-pink-bikini.jpg Now that NBC has finally revealed the cast on its revival of I'm a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here, I have to ask: Does the network really know what the word "celebrity" really means?

Otherwise, I'm not sure how people like Hills star Heidi Montag (left), longtime NBA retiree John Salley, American Idol reject SanjayaStephen_Baldwin_LF Malakar and the untalented Baldwin brother Stephen wound up in the cast of their latest reality TV tragedy.

(Since there are more castmembers and hosts to be named, perhaps they're saving the A-list for later.)

Blagojevich We can't even count on a judge saving us from the sight of ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich eating bugs in Costa Rica with the other participants in this nonsense. Though the judge would not allow Blagojevich to leave the United States for the show, he IS appearing in ads for the program, according to a segment aired on the Today show Friday morning.

Here is NBC's press release revealing the cast.
