NBC News says YouTube clip of video diary features Casey Anthony
Who knew that Casey Anthony's first video appearance after her acquittal would be on YouTube?
According to NBC News, a video clip currently on YouTube features Anthony recording a video diary talking about her feelings in October, just months after her acquittal on charges of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The Today show report emphasized that Anthony doesn't mention her daughter or parents. It seems to be recorded wherever she is now hiding in Florida after a internationally publicized trial which turned her into one of the world's most vilified figures.
What the Today show story didn't say: How they know Anthony posted the video (the headline on their story reads "Casey Anthony Posts Video Diary on Internet"). The only copies of the video I could find on YouTube seem to be posted by other people.
Other questions: whether it is possible for the poster to earn money from the video and how they verified that it was Anthony in the video. These seem to be pretty major questions NBC's story leaves unanswered.
Here's the video embedded below; judge for yourself what it may say about Anthony:
