NBC's America's Got Talent will hold auditions in Tampa Nov. 12 and 13
For the first time in the show's history, NBC's America's Got Talent will send producers to Tampa for auditions Nov. 12 and 13, seeking contestants for the summer's most popular talent contest.
The auditions for AGT's seventh season will be held at the Tampa Convention Center, starting at 8 a.m. each day and ending at 7 p.m.
The show has an extensive website outlining lots of information about the audition experience, including a FAQ, pre-registration forms and links to follow updates on Twitter and Facebook. Click here for a link to the Tampa audition site; applicants are encouraged to download and fill out forms in advance to make their process quicker.
There's also links to upload video auditions through the site. Between October and February, the show plans to visit six cities including New York (October 8 and 9), St. Louis (October 22 and 23) and in Washington, D.C. (November 5 and 6).
The search continues in Tampa, Fla. (November 12 and 13), Anaheim, Calif. (December 10 and 11), Austin, Texas (January 14 and 15), Charlotte, N.C. (February 4 and 5) and San Francisco (January 25 and 26).
Auditioners will have 90 seconds to show their talent to series’ producers in the hopes of reaching the on camera judges. Every type of performer is welcome - including musicians, dance crews, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between – all competing for a $1 million prize.
