New Sue Sylvester lines from Glee's upcoming second season, revealed during TV Critics awards
LOS ANGELES -- Glee mastermind Ryan Murphy knows some people think he talks too much about what's coming up on Fox's musical dramedy. But he can't help dishing about his baby to a pop culture universe which vacuums up every tidbit about a surprise hit that has yet to earn a significant public backlash.
"People keep telling me I shouldn't be talking," admitted Murphy, who has already dished that the show would feature Madonna, Britney Spears and Rocky Horror Picture Show-themed episodes in its second season. "But to me, the fans made that show and they're so rabid about. the fact is, we're shooting now, and if I don't say it, it always gets out anyway."
In that spirit, since star Jane Lynch couldn't come to the Television Critics Association awards Saturday, Murphy unveiled four choice put-down lines her character, Sue Sylvester, is expected to let fly during the show's upcoming, second season.
4. "A female football coach is like a male nurse; it's a sin against nature."
3. "I seriously hope you're in the middle of a mid-life crisis, William, as that means you're on the way to an early death affording me a blissful convalescence spent peeing on your grave."
2. "Don't go soft on me, Will. I realize you're mourning the loss of that boney little redhead you're in love with, and I understand, it's not just a loss for you. As she appears to be the link between early hominids and man, it's also a loss for science."
1. "Should have gone with poop cookies, Will."
