Officials release video which may show arrest of WTVT-Ch. 13 anchor Russell Rhodes
Rhodes was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with obstructing an officer without violence after an off duty deputy stopped the anchor at the public parking garage at Channelside on suspicion of driving under the influence.
This surveillance video from the parking garage at the date and time of Rhodes' arrest shows blurry images of an altercation between an officer and another person, with the officer eventually taking the other person down to the ground. The incident happens in the upper left side of the screen.
Rhodes has not appeared on camera since the incident, which produced graphic facial injuries. Officials at WTVT will not say when or whether he might return to on air duties.
