See University of South Florida students make the case for Today show this afternoon
They plied them with promises of body paint and marriage proposals, as nearly 200 students at the University of South Florida gathered near the campus' Marshall Student Center to make the case that NBC's Today show should come to Tampa and feature the school for an hour on the show.
One student promised to gild hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb in body paint reflecting the school's color.
Another 21 year old offered a marriage proposal to Kotb, assuring her "I gotta great GPA...I think I've got a great future ahead of me," he told correspondent Sara Haines, who herself was festooned in USF headgear and facepaint.
