Don't worry, the real-life 'Li'l Sebastian' from 'Parks and Rec' is alive and well

Actor Nick Offerman shared a post on Facebook yesterday that was getting a lot of attention: a funeral program for Li'l Sebastian, the miniature horse (not pony) of NBC Parks and Recreation fame.

The most famous resident of Pawnee, Indiana did tragically die in one of the best-remembered episodes of the sitcom, but why was Offerman sharing this now with the tags #NeverForget and #MagnificentLittleBastard? Did something happen to the real-life Sebastian?

No, Gideon, the miniature horse who played Li'l Sebastian is alive and well and living on a ranch in California, said a spokeswoman for A List Animals.

"That program is actually a prop that was made for the show," she said. "It turns up every so often, and we start getting calls, but he's fine."

Let's listen to "5,000 Candles In the Wind (Bye Bye Li'l Sebastian)" again anyway.
