Duck Dynasty Christmas LP makes us happy, happy, happy

Bob Dylan's 2009 Christmas album was unsettling, like watching an eggnogged Aunt Shirley hit on your pals. Alt-rocker Scott Weiland's 2011 yuletide disc was disturbing, like caroling in a rehab clinic.

Somewhere between those two infamous seasonal oddities will be Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, a mistletoed salute from the hirsute eccentrics on A&E reality show Duck Dynasty. This year's bid for freakiest holiday platter drops on Oct. 29 -- so it'll work for Halloween, too!

The duck-calling Robertsons -- including Phil, Willie, Missy, Jase, Jep and Uncle Si -- will be joined by such country stalwarts as Luke Bryan, Alison Krauss and George Strait (wait -- really??). Songs include Camouflage and Christmas Lights, Hairy Christmas and Ragin' Cajun Redneck Christmas.

Start growing your thatchy holiday beard now to best enjoy the melodic mayhem!
