The arrival of spring means the return of sunshine, warm breezes and incorporating bright colors in your wardrobe.

For diehard fans of everything undead, springs signals the return of AMC's hit TV shows, Fear the Walking Dead on April 10 and The Walking Dead on February 14.

Fear began its first season last August and followed the destruction of modern civilization from an outbreak of illness that turned almost everyone into zombies.

Unlike its sister show, Fear started at the very beginning of the outbreak in the middle of Los Angeles. Confusion, disbelief, ignorance and, of course, fear, were common themes.

The last time we saw the broken Clark/Manawa family - Madison, Travis, Alicia, Nick, and Chris - they were reeling from the death of Liza and preparing to board a yacht named Abigail with the mysterious Strand. Zombies on a boat?

Last month, AMC announced that production began for Fear's second season in Baja, Mexico.

Don't forget about AMC's web series, Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, which aired the first eight of 16 mini-sodes during commercial breaks of The Walking Dead. The web series follows passengers on a plane bound for Phoenix as the zombie apocalypse erupts around them.

To make things juicier, one of the passengers becomes ill, dies then comes back as one of the undead in the last seconds of Part 8.

The last eight parts of Flight 462 will continue to air during commercial breaks of the second half of season six of The Walking Dead. By the end of the series, one of the characters will join the cast of Fear for its second season.

Fear the Walking Dead returns Sunday, April 10 at 9 p.m. on AMC.

The first half of The Walking Dead's sixth season saw Rick, his people and the Alexandrians struggle to keep the walled community safe and get along.

Neither of those things happened.

Jessie and her sons reeled from the loss of their father, the abusive Pete; Rick's people try to maintain their survival skills while attempting to teach the Alexandrians how to defend themselves; and Morgan arrives.

Everyone was so excited for Morgan's return, but he soon became a liability with his newfound love of Aikido and not killing.

The first half of season six ended with the breach of Alexandria's walls, Glenn and Enid trying to get back in to help and the survivors covered in blood and guts attempting to escape a horde of walkers that infiltrated the community.

To give us a taste of what's to come, AMC released the first two minutes of episode nine. It shows Daryl, Sasha and Abraham being stopped by a group of motorcyclists who state everything the three have now belongs to their leader, Negan.

Comic fans already know Negan, who wields a bloody baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, and his group of Saviors are the most brutal villains the series has seen so far. As if Rick and his crew didn't have enough problems on their hands.

AMC also released new key art for the second half of the season, showing a patchwork of images and people that the group is about to discover.

The compilation of images could signify how the remaining Alexandrians are loosely tied together amidst the chaos of the world outside the walls. Other images could be hints of what's to come in this larger world they are now a part of.

Alexandria is no longer their safe-zone, but the group is determined to fix that. Unfortunately, the outside world run by the undead has other plans in mind.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 14 at 9 p.m. on AMC.

Check out the first four minutes of episode 9, where Daryl, Sasha and Abraham encounter members of Negan's Saviors, who quickly relieve them of their weapons and demand to see their home.
