'Full House' trio appears on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' and no, we're not sick of them yet (VIDEO)
Looks like the Full House dudes are fully embracing their (probably short-lived) resurgence into pop culture. It all started with the Oikos yogurt Super Bowl commercials starring erstwhile Full House "dads" Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and John Stamos. Then yesterday the trio appeared together on Good Morning America and proved they remember very little about the '90s show (except Coulier, who has apparently spent the past 20 years watching it on a loop).
We figured another appearance by the guys would be overkill. We were wrong.
Last night they showed up to do a Full House parody on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and it's predictably awesome. (Disclaimer: Full House was pretty crucial to my childhood, so I'm drowning in positive nostalgia over here. Your feelings about the middle-aged men might differ.)
In the skit, Jimmy Fallon plays the role of Michelle Tanner, natch, in a room recreated to look like young Michelle's on the show. Then Saget as Danny, Stamos as Uncle Jesse and Coulier as Joey come in to recreate one of the show's signature moments: singing Michelle to sleep with the teddy bear song. (An adorable and topical touch: Jimmy can't sleep because he's scared of leaving Late Night.) Dressed like their '90s selves, the three look like they're having a blast. Full House fans will appreciate references to everything from Mr. Woodchuck to "Cut it out" to Wake Up San Fransisco! to Jesse and the Rippers.
