Here's a new Wes Anderson film to get you in the holiday mood in under four minutes (w/ video)
Technically, it's a commercial for H&M, but when the fashion retailer has commissioned filmmaker Wes Anderson to write and direct, it's worth paying attention. The short film titled Come Together stars Oscar-winner Adrien Brody as a train conductor aboard the H&M Line Winter Express where he has to deliver some bad news to his passengers, but finds a creative way to cheer them up.
The film clocks in at just under four minutes, and is immediately recognizable as Anderson's signature style of design and directing. It's also the only, new live-action Anderson film we're likely to get for some time. The director is currently working on a still-untitled, stop-motion animated film about dogs that will reportedly get voice work from Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray and Edward Norton. That movie isn't expected to release until 2018.
