In case you missed it: Jay Leno's final words as host of 'The Tonight Show'
After much hullabaloo, acrimony, accusations and frankly stuff I never cared much about, Jay Leno finally bid adieu to The Tonight Show Thursday. I didn't tune in; instead, I watched Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger bust out of prison in Escape Plan. (It's dumb fun. I liked it; my 14-year-old self in 1984, however, would have LOVED it. But I digress...) I was a Carson guy at first, then a Letterman nut, and then I stopped paying much mind to late-night talkers altogether, instead tracking down choicer bits (especially Jimmy Fallon's) on YouTube the next day. My Feed colleague Michelle Stark is the late-night queen around here. (Wait, does that sound weird?) She's all about Fallon's Feb. 17 takeover of The Tonight Show. But alas, I'm a sucker for buzzy pop-culture moments, and Leno's goodbye was one of them. Check it out:
