Weekends are great for unwinding, and maybe even unplugging for a little while. Here's what trended that you might have missed if you weren’t on social media the last couple days.

Trump confuses people of Sweden

At a rally in Melbourne, President Donald Trump was talking about terrorism and said, "We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany. You look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?"

The only problem? The people of Sweden had no idea what he was referring to, because there had been no attack there. The biggest news in Sweden the night before actually had something to do with a singer having technical problems on a televised music competition. 

People began using the tag #lastnightinsweden to crack jokes about what the country really looked like on Friday.

Trump later said the comments had something to do with something he saw on TV.


Brittany Spears biopic gets dragged on Twitter

The new movie about the life of pop singer Britney Spears, Britney Ever After, premiered on Lifetime on Saturday and people were really enjoying how bad it was, in a good way. Everyone is a critic on social media, and this movie got picked apart for oh so many reasons. First off, there were iPhones and flat-screen TVs in a movie set in the early 2000s.

Glenn Robinson III wins NBA Slam Dunk Competition

It was the NBA's All-Star Weekend, and Robinson took home the trophy for the best slam dunks. You can watch the best ones from all the competitors below.
