Jared Leto, Thirty Seconds to Mars: Is the Oscars golden boy more lovable as a rock star?
I'm not quite convinved Thirty Seconds to Mars is a great band, but they do have a great band name. And if lead singer/recent Oscar charmer Jared "I Can Do It All" Leto (pronounced LET-O, still trying to get that right) doesn't have the most distinctive singing voice, he does possess great gobs of charazzzma, as David Lee Roth once coined. The best supporting actor winner, who will swap hats and bring his anthem-pumping band to George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa on Aug. 9, might fall short in his Bono impression, but there's no doubt he believes in what he's singing. Case in point: Here's Do or Die, the arena-sized new single from the trio'slatest LP, Love, Lust, Faith + Dreams. If not exactly distinctive -- and not nearly as moving as his award-scooping role in Dallas Buyers Club -- the song is fist-pumping and loud. Let us know what you think, Feedsters.
