The first ever MegaCon Tampa Bay has announced a new batch of celebrity guests for the pop culture convention coming to the Tampa Convention Center Oct. 28 to 30, including Star Trek: The Next Generation star LeVar Burton and classic TV icon Henry Winkler, of Happy Days fame.

Other additions to the lineup: Will Friedle, who played Cory's older brother, Eric, on the '90s sitcom Boy Meets World and has since provided the voice of Nightwing in many Batman cartoons, Brett Dalton, who plays Grant Ward on ABC's Marvel-based series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films.

Voice actors Steve Blum (Cowboy Bebop) and Jeremy Shada (Adventure Time) will also be there, and Sailor Moon voice actors Linda Ballantyne (Sailor Moon) and Katie Griffin  (Sailor Mars) will participate in a panel discussion. On the comic book side of things, Rob Liefeld, the writer and artist who created Deadpool is set to attend.

They'll all join previously-announced Star Trek actors William Shatner and Karl Urban, plus Doctor Who's David Tennant, Billie Piper and Alex Kingston as they meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos for an additional cost that currently ranges from $50 to $80.

MegaCon Tampa Bay will also feature panel discussions, a large area with vendors and a lineup of cosplay guests.

The convention is run by Fan Expo HQ, the same Canadian company that runs Orlando's MegaCon, one of the largest, annual pop culture cons in the nation. The new convention means competition for Tampa Bay Comic Con, which in August drew its largest crowd ever to the Tampa Convention Center.
