Map: Where to find Pokémon, PokéStops and gyms in Tampa and St. Pete

There are hundreds of Pokemon Go gyms and PokeStops in Tampa Bay.

There are several hundred Pokémon Go gyms and even more PokéStops spread across Tampa Bay. This map doesn't include every single one of them, but it does include a whole lot of options to get you started. I've marked many of the area landmarks, restaurants, bars, libraries and other attractions where you can battle other trainers or stock up on items.

We've also included some of the top spots in the area where players are flocking to catch big numbers of highly-sought Pokémon in the wild in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Safety Harbor. The yellow weight lifter icons are gyms, the blue stars are known PokeStops and the purple walker icons are spots popular for catching Pokémon. You can also view a larger version of this map here.

And if you still have no idea what a PokéStop, a lure or a Charmander is, make to check out our complete Tampa Bay Pokémon Go Guide: How to play without getting hurt, being a jerk or wondering what an 'egg' is.
