Pasco theater shooting widow to be on 'The View'
This week is a busy one on The View. Not only is Rosie O'Donnell returning on Friday for the first time since her epic shoutdown with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but one of Tampa Bay's most notorious news stories -- the fatal shooting over texting in a Pasco County movie theater -- will be a hot topic with the appearance of Nicole Oulson, the wife of man who was fatally shot. She is scheduled to be on the show Thursday with her attorney TJ Grimaldi.
The shooting was in the news today when Judge Pat Siracusa told attorneys for Curtis Reeves Jr., the reitred Tampa Police captain accused of shooting 43-year-old Chad Oulson during an argument over texting a the Cobb Grove Theatre, that he will allow a surveillance video to be shown in court that depicts what happened. His widow will be on The View Thursday.
O'Donnell, who was a notably stormy panelist, hasn't been on the show since her epic fight with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on May 23, 2007. The live, unedited fight started over the War in Iraq, but quickly escalated. She will be on the panel Friday
The View airs on ABC station WFTS at 11 a.m.
