Plastic-sword-wielding nerds rejoice! 'Game of Thrones' video game on its way
Giving geeks and related shut-ins yet another reason to never leave the efficiency again, HBO and Telltale Games announced Monday that they'll be releasing a Game of Thrones video game adaptation in 2014. Not much is known about this potentially awesome new time-suck devoted to the televised saga of Westeros -- the fantasy land created by author George R.R. Martin -- but how empowering will it be slaying tons of dudes with Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister character or, better yet, Maisie Williams' wee buttkicker Arya Stark. No word yet on which actors will lend their voices to their digitized alter egos, but check out the teaser trailer to get all tingly and medieval inside. And may I suggest: Red Wedding Easter egg! Red Wedding Easter egg! By the way, Season 4 of Game of Thrones is still without a return date, but the buzz is that you should definitely start paying for HBO again in late winter/early spring.
