Season premiere of BBC's ‘Doctor Who’ is coming to theaters
If you don’t have BBC America, never fear. You don’t need a Tardis or an illegal download to see the Series 8 premiere of Doctor Who: It’s coming to theaters. (Although if you do have BBC, superfan and comedian Chris Hardwick is hosting a live pre-show and after-show for the 8 p.m. premiere Aug. 23.)
On midnight Aug. 23, Peter Capaldi’s debut as the Twelfth Doctor is being broadcast in 12 theaters in 12 cities across the States with 15 minutes of extra content! Those locales aren’t announced yet, but Aug. 25 features 7 and 9:30 p.m. showings in 550 theaters, including Tampa’s Citrus Stadium Park 20 and Veterans 24, Pinellas Park’s Park Place Stadium 16 and Brandon’s Regency 20.
