Editor's note: With the seventh part in the Star Wars saga, The Force Awakens, arriving in theaters this week, we're celebrating all things geeky from a galaxy far, far away here on the Feed. From helping get you up to speed on what you need to know to offering recipes for a Star Wars marathon and joining the debate on which order to watch the movies in, we've got you covered, rebel scum.

One local homage seeks to highlight the parallels between George Lucas' Star Wars screenplays and the Bible.

On Sunday, South Brandon Worship Center presents Star Trip: Our Faith Awakens, a Star Wars Christmas play featuring Duke Skywatcher, Only One Kenobi and Juan Solo.

The play follows the reimagined characters in search of the star of hope and the chosen one. Of course, along the journey, the evil Emperor tries to stop the good guys. The performance includes live music from the church band and children's choir.
