"That's Enough": Craig Ferguson to leave late night, too

Fans of CBS late-night host Craig Ferguson should prepare for an unmerry Christmas. The dry, wickedly smart comedian plans to step down from his gig in December, following fellow CBS host David Letterman's retirement announcement on April 3. The Scottish-born 51-year-old says it was his decision, and his decision alone, and that Stephen Colbert taking the Letterman spot (once saved for Ferguson) was not motivation. "I've been doing this show for 10 years," the Emmy-nominated Ferguson said during the opening of Monday's show. "That's enough." Let the carousel of replacement rumors start spinning; per usual, we nominate zeitgeist-y stand-up Aziz Ansari. As for Ferguson's future, he's working on a game show, Celebrity Name Game, slated for the fall. Plus, he told his audience: "I'm thinking carpentry. I haven't made up my mind yet."
