Watch Amy Schumer register people to vote in Tampa (w/video)
We knew that Amy Schumer got political during her show in Tampa this week (causing a number of Trump supporters to walk out), but we didn't realize she'd taken her passion for for supporting Hillary Clinton as far as letting fans use her back as a table.
In a video posted to the Hillary for Florida Facebook page, Schumer is seen outside Tampa's Amalie Arena with a clipboard encouraging people to register to vote. In the video, which also features her brother, Schumer talks with local fans and reminds Florida viewers that "today is your last day to register to vote. So just go to iwillvote.com to check out your registration status."
In a separate post, she's seen letting a woman balance the clipboard on her back as she fills out the document.
Schumer has made no secret of her support for Clinton or her dislike for Donald Trump. During the show, she referred to the Republican nominee as an "orange, sexual-assaulting, fake- college-starting monster."
Schumer was performing in Tampa for the first time since the release of her book, The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, in which she slammed Tampa residents for never reading.
