Weekend trailer: Showtime uncorks impressive clip for Homeland's Season Three
Yes, I have already seen the first two episodes from the new, third season of Showtime's spy drama, Homeland. And no, I will not reveal any spoilers from what I’ve seen here now, though it will be impossible to talk about how amazingly cool those two episodes are without letting a few details slip.
But that’s for a review coming your way at another time. For now, you can start your weekend with Showtime’s first trailer for Homeland’s new season with footage from the upcoming season.
Damian Lewis’ Nicholas Brody is on the run, a presumed terrorist after a bomb in his car blew up CIA headquarters killing scores of agents (this happened at the end of last season). The new season picks up not long after that, as Claire Danes’ Carrie Mathison, Mandy Patinkin’s Saul Berenson, Brody's family and the U.S. government itself struggles to cope with what happened.
Check out the clip above, and know that’s only the beginning (at least, if Showtime-owner CBS works out its problems with Time Warner and Bright House Networks before the show's Sept. 29 debut):
