Damned Spot on Audible Channels
The places featured in Damned Spot aren't haunted. They're places where tragedy has happened — murders, mass shootings, hangings — and where rumors swirl about ghost sightings.
In just four episodes on Audible Channels, Damned Spot explores what happens to a place after it's been tainted by tragedy.
The first explores a McDonald's in San Ysidro, Calif., after a man walked in and murdered 21 people. At the time it was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, and McDonald's had a difficult choice to make: reopen the branch or demolish it.
The next three follow a real estate appraiser who specializes in infamous properties, a mansion that was deemed haunted after a stint on a ghost hunting show and a small Texas town forever branded by the mark of a brutal hate crime.
This series isn't a collection of ghost stories and juicy true crime tales, it's a look at what happens to a place after it's been touched by death.
