What would you like to see me cover on CNN's Reliable Sources Sunday?
Even in the dog days of summer, there’s no shortage of media news.
From scores of layoffs at AOL Patch to the detention of journalist Glenn Greenwald’s partner in a move which seems aimed at chilling his journalism, there’s lot of news out there about those of us to report the news.
Still, as I prepare for a stint this Sunday as guest host of CNN’s media analysis show Reliable Sources, I’m wondering what’s on your mind.
As the week progresses, I’ll be talking with producers at CNN, developing story ideas and heading to the channel’s Washington bureau to pull everything together. But as the week is getting started, I’d love to know what you’d like to see (with no guarantee that we’ll actually do it, of course).
I’m finding that even the best ideas don’t necessarily come off if you can’t find guests. And at a time when many folks are finishing vacations and preparing for the end of summer, getting people in front of a camera can be tougher that it looks.
Still, I’m interested in your ideas, as well. Feel free to leave the here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Twitter at @Deggans.
Can’t wait to deliver a fun, informative hour on the news of the news business.
