Winner and loser of the week: Margot Robbie has secret wedding; Fifth Harmony drama escalates online
Margot Robbie. In a year ridden with major celebrity breakups, it's about time we celebrate some young love. The Suicide Squad star, 26, got hitched to British director Tom Ackerley, also 26, in a top secret ceremony in Australia. The two later confirmed their wedding Tuesday via Instagram in a cheeky photo with Robbie showing off her nuptial bling while flipping her ring finger to the camera. "We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, 'Oh, he would never love me back,'" Robbie told Vogue back in May. As if any man could possibly not love Robbie back. "And then it happened, and I was like, of course we're together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before." And if that doesn't just warm your heart, Robbie wore her mother's bridal gown down the aisle.
Fifth Harmony. Breaking up is hard to do. In a shade-filled Instagram and Twitter message posted by the girl group, it was revealed that Camila Cabello was going solo. Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke, 23; Normani Kordei, 20; Dinah Jane, 19, and Lauren Jauregui, 20, announced via social media that Cabello's reps informed them she was out. Cabello responded (also via social media), claiming the Work From Home ladies knew she was leaving and they even had "much needed conversations about the future." Then the breakup exploded when "Fourth Harmony" posted a letter calling out Cabello, which sparked the #CamilaIsOverParty on Twitter. The drama is so real and now Harmonizers -as their fans are called- don't know which side to choose. "We even went as far as group counseling which she did not show up to. So no, after months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleaded," the letter said. Here is the full exchange:
