Young actor Jacob Tremblay makes adorable Critics' Choice Awards acceptance speech
He was already the winner for best young actor on Sunday at the Critics' Choice Awards, but 9-year-old Jacob Tremblay won over the entire room when he got up for his acceptance speech.
A box was waiting for the diminutive actor, who stars in Room, to stand on after his name was announced by Fred Savage and Bradley James. But that was not quite high enough.
James walked over and tilted the microphone stand down so Jacob could speak into it.
In his speech, Jacob thanks the critics and said, "This must be a super hard vote because of all the other great actors in this category." That led to the first of many "awwws" from the crowd of Hollywood stars.
