Todd and Julia Grovenburg knew they were having one baby but were then told that they were having two -- but not twins. Instead, the babies were conceived 2 1/2 weeks apart. A baby girl was first. Her baby brother was conceived a couple weeks later, an ultrasound confirmed. Apparently, a check on the second baby found that he was much younger developmentally than the Grovenburg's daughter.

The babies are due in late 2009 and early 2010. Or will she be able to have them at the same time?

There's a name for this rare condition -- superfetation, or conceiving while pregnant. Maybe we should check the calendar because this seems like an April Fool's Day prank.
