Back-to-school shopping deal at Office Depot
The news is grim on the back-to-school shopping front. Times reporter Mark Albright tells us in a story today that many people aren't shopping for back-to-school items the way they did in the past because of higher prices in the supermarket and at the gas pump. "Right now, any teacher wish list for extra supplies is out,'' Seminole mom Jennifer Kapper said in Albright's story. "And we'll make do with the clothes we have at least until fall.''
Well, we Mommas know that any deals that we find, we have to pass on. So here is a little one: At your neighborhood Office Depot, they are selling 150-sheet packs of notebook paper, college- or wide-ruled, for 15-cents. There's a five-pack minimum, but that cost me 81-cents. Thanks to deal-loving mom Jaye for telling us about this one.
Now, I know the back-to-school lists certainly have a lot of items on them. But isn't it good to find one thing that won't cost you an arm and a leg? And if you've found other deals, please share them with Mommas here. We'd love to hear from you.
