Celebrity multiples baby news: Octomom, new Duggar grandchild and Jon, Kate and the 8
Lots of news in the world of celebrity multiples. We'll start with Nadya Suleman, or Octomom, who has been laying a little low lately. But now that her reality show seems to be gearing up for prime time, she is out to push it a bit, giving an interview to Us magazine (you can see her there on the top left of this week's mag) and talking about what she doesn't want the show to be. "I don't want my TV show to be like Jon & Kate Plus 8," the mom of 14 says. "I want it to be more documentary style." Well, good luck with that. Her new show will start shooting in September.
Speaking of Jon and Kate, they -- although mostly separately -- will be back in their reality show at 9 p.m. Monday after taking a break following the annoucement of their split. The parents of eight have gone their separate ways -- Jon is constantly in the headlines with a girlfriend or two -- but are still lightning rods for publicity, even so much as inspiring hairdos for others. In an Us magazine poll though, more than 34,600 responders say they won't tune in Monday night.
Finally, if you're not familiar with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, they are the parents of 18 kids and the stars of their own TLC reality show. Now, their oldest son Joshua and his wife Anna are awaiting the arrival of their first child, a daughter. And they have chosen to reveal her name: Mackynzie Renee. I guess they decided not to go the whole J route like his parents did -- all of his sisters and brothers have names that begin with J. The new baby is due Oct. 20.
