Controlling chaos in style
Like Sharon mentioned in her article on back-to-school organizing tips, I, too, like to think that this school year I will be in beautiful harmony with the universe. The clutter that orbits around me will somehow find its way into tasteful bins and baskets that I have yet to purchase, and all of my receipts will be recorded and my checkbook balanced.
Check out BusyChix.net, for items such as the Busy Bag ($26) which contains laminated lists of things you need to organize your day; weekly calendars, grocery needs or notes to the babysitter. The wall calendars take you through the school year with large squares that can accommodate multiple family members in different color markers provided. I like that the whole year is spread out for all year-planning and that you can even accessorize it with different ribbons for a festive touch.
Now if only those calendars had extra days built in, we’d be all set.
