Fairy godmothers of prom dresses

godmother.jpgHave a prom dress to donate or know someone in need of one? Two non-profit organizations, Belle of the Ball Project and Dream a Dress, have teamed up to provide free prom dresses to low income high school teen girls in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

Their motto is that no girl should be denied the opportunity to attend her high school dance because of they can't afford a dress.  So they are ready to give away dresses, shoes, purses and accessories in their 4,000 square foot store at the Seminole Mall with more 1,500 dresses to choose from.

The mall is at 11201 Park Blvd. N in Seminole, next to the Ross department store. It is open to all Pinellas and Hillsborough County teens. The giveaway dates are Saturdays, March 26, April 2, 9, 30, and May 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations will also be accepted at the store on those dates. For more information on distributions and collections please visit or organization's website
