Calling all young chefs! All Children's Hospital, Kohl’s Cooks for Kids, Radio Disney and St. Pete Fire & Rescue, Fossil Park Station are putting out an alert that they want you to step up for the Fire House Family Chili Cook-off on Oct. 13.

Families are challenged to come out and "show-off their culinary skills at this fun and tasty event." Families who don't want to compete are encouraged to come and sample the tasty chili recipes as well as enjoy, Radio Disney, real fire demonstrations, helicopter landing, bike rodeo, K-9 demo and more.

The cook off will be on a Saturday,  Oct 13, at Fossil Park Fire Station, 6975 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg.

Kids who would like to submit a recipe should visit www.allkids.org/familycookoff for recipe guidelines and  information.
