For moms looking for a fun - and even meaningful - night out, check out Lunafest, a mini-film festival of movies made by women, for women and about women. It's this Thursday night at the Home Theatre Gallery on South Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.

The movies come from all over the world and touch on a broad range of subjects. You won't see them at your local theater.

What's especially cool is that the 10 documentaries are being shown at more than 150 venues nationwide. Attend a Lunafest, and you share an experience with women from coast to coast.

The festival is put on by the makers of the Luna bar for women, so don't be surprised to get a bar or two for attending.
