Food for a morning kid's party?
So, I'm planning my little guy's birthday party and I have a dilemma. The party is from 10 a.m. to noon at a park on a Saturday. But I was wondering if I should have food, like pizza, chicken nuggets or PB&J, for the kids.
Now, the Momma (and party planner) in me says yes, have something substantial there. Besides, I'll definitely have a cake so it seems weird not to have food before it. But the non-traditional side of me says it seems kind of early for lunch. Maybe light snacks -- like little bagels, cream cheese, chips, fruit and Gogurts -- make more sense.
Mommas, what do you think? Would you talk about me behind my back and say I'm cheap or do you think snacks are the right way to go? I'm on the clock here. My party is really soon.
